ROTARY INTERNATIONAL 33RD DISTRICT 3310 CONFERENCE (DISCON)

An annual event that brings together Rotarians from clubs within a specific district. The primary purposes of the conference are to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, plan for the upcoming year, provide training and development opportunities, and inspire Rotarians with motivational speakers and breakout sessions.

We were honored by the presence of the Rotary International President's Representative, IPDG Dr. Mildred Vitangcol, who joined our DISCON.

This Rotary Year, our club has been actively involved in Mental Health Projects, the focus of RY2023/24:
12 Jul 2023: Mental Health Awareness Webinar with over 300 attendees.
25-26 Dec 2023: Mental Health First Aid Training in collaboration with the Mental Health Association of Sarawak, benefiting 25 participants.
Mar-Jun 2024: Launch of the Rotary Mental Wellness Centre located at 20dB, administered by RC Kuching Unity City.

Congratulations to our Community Service District Chair, President Mok Yong Yaw, and the committee members who received the Appreciation Award from DG Dr. John Chan during the District Governor's Banquet! 

We are proud to have received the 2023-2024 Governor's Citation Gold!  Under the leadership of President Mok, who despite his busy schedule, has successfully guided our club to complete numerous community service projects.

Together, we are making a positive impact!
